Philips Lumileds Lighting Company of San Jose, CA, USA has ordered an AIX 2600G3 IC MOCVD Planetary reactor from Aixtron AG of Aachen, Germany. The multiwafer system will be used to produce red-emitting HB-LEDs, based on the semiconductor alloy system AlInGaP.
Aixtron says that this latest order from Philips Lumileds demonstrates the success of the long-time relationship between the two companies, and that it is a signal of strong AlInGaP market activity.See related items:
