Skyworks launches high-efficiency power amplifiers for 4G LTE and 5G NR applications
Skyworks has launched a complete family of high-efficiency power amplifiers (PAs) designed for the stringent requirements of enterprise small-cell radios.
The devices offer wide instantaneous bandwidth with high gain and are fully input/output matched. Active biasing circuitry is integrated to compensate for PA performance over temperature, voltage and process variations.
With a compact 5mm x 5mm package, the SKY663xx-11 family of PAs is suitable for 5G systems operating at 2.3-5GHz (specifically, the SKY66312-11 for 2300-2400MHz, SKY66317-11 for 2496-2690MHz, SKY66318-11 for 3300-3600MHz, SKY66318-21 for 3300-3700MHz, SKY66319-11 for 4400-5000MHz and SKY66320-11 for 3600-3800MHz.
