VPEC orders two further MOCVD reactors
Visual Photonics Epitaxy Co Ltd (VPEC) has ordered two AIX 2600 G3 systems from Aixtron AG in Q3/2006, for installation at its facility in Ping-Jen City, Taoyuan, Taiwan. The systems offer 12x4-inch or 7x6-inch wafer configurations for the production of HBTs and HEMTs or 49x2-inch configuration for the production of LEDs.
VPEC was established in 1996. Its main products are HB-LED epitaxial wafers and chips for industrial and commercial applications, and HBT, HEMT and PIN epitaxial wafers for telecommunication and optical fiber communication applications.
