IQE-RF awarded Gold Subcontractor Status for high-quality service

Northrop Grumman’s Space Technology Group of Redondo Beach, CA, USA has awarded Gold Subcontractor Status to IQE-RF of New Jersey, USA, in recognition of the company’s service in terms of timely deliveries, reporting, and overall customer relationship quality. The Gold Award is the highest level achievable under the Supplier Rating Program operated by Northrop Grumman to categorize the quality of service offered by its suppliers.

A division of epiwafer and substrate foundry IQE plc, headquartered in Cardiff, Wales, UK, IQE-RF contract manufactures a range of MOCVD grown RF materials, including GaN HEMTs on SiC and Si substrates, InGaP HBTs and BiFETs.

Northrop Grumman said: “IQE’s technical findings coupled with our research, continues to push the program towards its ultimate goal. This award is well deserved.”
