Plasma etch, strip and deposition systems manufacturer Trion Technology of Clearwater, FL, USA has established a strategic alliance with Crystec Technology Trading GmbH. Located in Altoetting, Germany, Crystec will distribute and support Trion's full line of products throughout Europe.
"We are pleased to have this cooperation with Trion Technology. They have a strong product range for RIE etching including ICP and microwave plasma generation as well as for PECVD. We have contacted most of the existing European customers and have had only positive feedback," said Dr Ralph Lüdicke, Crystec’s president.
Graham Muir, Trion’s international sales manager, added: "We believe that providing highly responsive service is an essential factor in making our customers happy."
Trion provides systems for compound semiconductor, MEMS and optoelectronic markets.
*Revamped website
Following a recent modernization in terms of design and content, Trion’s new website now offers an enhanced applications section, which provides users with basic information about plasma technology. It also provides recipes, technical articles and SEMS, with a focus on the results obtained by Trion’s customers.
In the product section, users can find details of Trion’s new Sirus T2 Table Top Reactive Ion Etcher, which was released in January 2007, as well as information about the company’s other products.
