MBE equipment maker Riber of Bezons, France has received an order for its Siva21 research machine from a new customer, an unnamed research institute in Europe.
Including this latest order, as of June 11 Riber's order backlog is 10 research machines: 2 Compact12; 5 Compact21; 1 Siva21; and 2 Epineat.
Developed for advanced research on SiGe, oxides, and magnetic compounds, Riber says that the newly introduced Siva21 integrates the best features of its Compact21 MBE research system and its EVA32 system, the latter of which the company adds had great success in the 1990s with silicon and metal research.
