Laser diode maker eagleyard Photonics appoints sales agents

Maker of high power laser diodes, eagleyard Photonics GmbH of Berlin, Germany has appointed Market Tech Inc of Scotts Valley, CA USA as its sales representative for the Mid West and West Coast regions of the USA.

eagleyard Photonics provides high power laser diodes with wavelengths ranging from 650 nm to 1120 nm, for applications such as industrial, medical, aerospace and scientific.

A privately held corporation, Market Tech Inc provides distribution and sales representation for a variety of photonics manufacturers. The company offers a range of optics, lasers and laser systems for a broad spectrum of applications in the life science, telecommunications, research and industrial markets.

"The addition of Market Tech Inc to our worldwide portfolio of reputable distributors is a crucial and important step in bringing our advanced technology to a broader range of international customers", explains Joerg Muchametow, eagleyard Photonics' CEO and founder. "The Market Tech team has extensive depth and experience in developing OEM business in a wide variety of markets and applications, and thus fulfils our needs for greater strategic and business development in the all important US market place".

Market Tech will provide sales and support in West Coast, Rocky Mountain and selected Mid West US states.

eagleyard has also appointed AMS Technologies as its distributor for the United Kingdom, France, Italy and Spain.

“We are confident that AMS’ commitment and competence will help us to provide maximum support to our customers and to meet the steadily increasing demand for our products in Europe”, said Joerg Muchametow. “eagleyard considers the partnership with AMS an important step towards a stronger European marketing of its high power lasers”.
