NEC Electronics America awards Praxair a 10 year bulk gas contract

NEC Electronics America Inc has awarded Praxair Inc’s Electronics division a 10 year contract to provide bulk gases and services to NEC at its manufacturing facility located in Roseville, Ca, USA.

NEC’s facility at Roseville opened in 1984, and since that time Praxair has supplied the company with semiconductor process gases, gas handling equipment, sputtering targets and services for onsite chemical distribution and management.

The new 10 year contract covers supply to NEC’s existing 6-inch wafer fab, and the company's planned eight-inch line.
