Monolithic microwave integrated circuit developer Custom MMIC of Westford, MA, USA has launched the CMD292 wideband gallium arsenide (GaAs) distributed driver amplifier MMIC.

Operating at DC-30GHz, the CMD292 delivers 13dB of gain with a corresponding output 1dB compression point (P1dB) of +27dBm and output IP3 (third-order intercept point) of +33dBm at 15GHz. It features a positive gain slope over frequency, easing broadband designs when flat gain profile is desired.

The CMD292 is a pad-compatible replacement for Analog Devices’ DC-28GHz HMC994 GaAs pHEMT MMIC power amplifier. The broadband device is suitable for applications requiring broad bandwidth, high output power and high linearity.
