Finisar receives Excellence in Delivery and Flexibility Award from Cisco

During Cisco's 24th Annual Supplier Appreciation Event at the Santa Clara Convention Center in California on 9 September, fiber-optic communications component and subsystem maker Finisar Corp of Sunnyvale, CA, USA received the 2015 Excellence in Delivery and Flexibility Award for "executing under tremendous delivery and flexibility pressures, while quickly adapting to Cisco's Lean hubbing requirements and adopting the company's cloud-based SCP material management platform".

"Our Supplier Appreciation Awards highlight exceptional performances by the very best of our extended supply chain," says John Kern, senior VP, Supply Chain Operations, at Cisco. Cisco presented awards to suppliers in recognition of their contributions to its success in fiscal 2015. At the event, Cisco recognized the dedication and successes of its strategic suppliers and manufacturing partners, testifying to its commitment to close partnership with its supply network.
