Plasma-Therm 'RANKED 1st' in Etch and Clean Equipment category of VLSIresearch Customer Satisfaction Survey
For the 17th consecutive year, plasma process equipment maker Plasma-Therm LLC of St Petersburg, FL, USA has received awards in the Customer Satisfaction Survey conducted by market research firm VLSIresearch. This includes being 'RANKED 1st' for the fourth year in a row (in the 'Etch and Clean Equipment' category), as well as gaining two additional awards, from an independent, global survey of customers.
"The results show that customers appreciate not just the value of the systems we manufacture, but also the quality of our after-sale technical support, field service, and continuous improvement programs," says Plasma-Therm CEO Abdul Lateef.
"Plasma-Therm's repeat appearances among this elite group of suppliers demonstrate its commitment to product quality, after-sale support, and technical leadership," comments VLSIresearch's chairman & CEO G. Dan Hutcheson.
Plasma-Therm also received a '10 BEST' award in the 'Focused Suppliers of Chip Making Equipment' category, and a 'THE BEST' award in the 'Fab Equipment Suppliers' category.
As an example of its technology innovation, Plasma-Therm cites its introduction of the Singulator, which allows die yield to be increased by up to 30%. The firm claims to be first to enable plasma dicing on tape in production.
VLSIresearch says that survey participants worldwide were asked to rate equipment suppliers among 15 categories based on three key factors: supplier performance, customer service, and product performance. A total of 57,207 survey responses were received.
