SemiTEq says that it is is actively expanding into foreign markets. In particular, this is the second MBE system order from the University of Toronto’s Center for Nanotechnology.
The new STE75 is intended as a compact and versatile tool for a wide range of R&D applications for semiconductors based on А3В5, А2В6 and III-nitride materials. The MBE system is claimed to be one of the most compact in the R&D class. The basic configuration has a compact footprint, flexible design and all the necessary tools for in-situ monitoring of growth process data, making the STE75 the optimal choice for research centers and universities, it is claimed.
