International Rectifier presenting GaN-based power management solutions at PCIM Europe

Power semiconductor device maker International Rectifier Corp (IR) of El Segundo, CA, USA is to showcase its latest power management solutions at PCIM (Power Conversion Intelligent Motion) Europe 2014 in the Nuremberg Exhibition Center, Germany (20-22 May 2014).

Engineering and technical sales staff will demonstrate IR’s latest energy-saving and high-power-density enabling technologies and products in Hall 9, Stand 413. The booth will feature IR’s latest power management solutions including next-generation power modules for industrial and appliance applications. Demonstrations of the firm’s GaNpowIR gallium nitride-based platform will also be on display, in addition to its benchmark MOSFETs and high-voltage ICs for applications including automotive, motor control and lighting. IR will also showcase a new digital solution that leverages the PMBus interface to simplify control and telemetry for high-performance multiphase DC-DC converters.
