Everlight launches 1W high-power LED with low-thermal-resistance housing for lighting applications
Everlight Electronics Co Ltd of Shulin, New Taipei City (Taiwan’s largest LED assembly manufacturer) has launched the top-view white 1W high-power LED XI3535. The firm says that the cost-effective package provides high lumen output and efficacy and is suited to use in lighting-grade high-power LED designs such as omni-directional LED light bulbs, directional lamps, decorative lamps, panel lights and other general and residential lighting applications.
The XI3535’s package material is thermally efficient, allowing the LED to be driven at higher current for more lumens while maintaining good service life-time. The high-reliability housing has a low thermal resistance of 15°C/W.
The XI3535 is offered in ANSI correlated color temperature (CCT) ratings from 2700K to 6500K and has a light efficacy of 109/115lm/W (warm/cool-white) at a drive current of 350mA and a voltage of 3V, with a color rendering index (CRI) of more than 80. A 150mA and 6V version is also available. The typical high flux output of the XI3535 is 105/110 lumens.
The top-view white LED has a compact size of 3.5mm x 3.5mm x 0.65mm (LxWxH) and a typical viewing angle of 115°. It is Pb-free and RoHS-compliant and is currently undergoing LM80 lumen maintenance testing (already tested to 4000 hours).
Samples are available on request, and the devices are in mass production now.
