CPV firm HelioVolt launches new high-performance module series
HelioVolt Corp of Austin, TX, USA, which makes monolithically integrated copper indium gallium diselenide (CIGS) thin-film photovoltaic modules for the commercial rooftop and utility markets, has successfully completed testing of its next series of high-efficiency thin film solar modules. HelioVolt now offers a range of solar panels based on its proprietary CIGS technology platform. The new series features the firm’s frameless glass-glass construction and monolithic integration, offering “outstanding energy yield, cost and reliability”.
“Our unique technology and manufacturing capabilities allow HelioVolt to continue to rapidly expand our product portfolio,” says founder & chairman Dr BJ Stanbery. “Our panels offer industry-leading narrow power distributions to deliver higher system performance,” he claims.
HelioVolt is presenting its new modules at the 38th IEEE Photovoltaic Specialist Conference (PVSC 38) in Austin, TX, USA (5-7 June).
