TriQuint named one of Fortune Magazine’s 100 Fastest-Growing Companies in 2011
RF front-end product and foundry services provider TriQuint Semiconductor Inc of Hillsboro, OR, USA has been named to Fortune Magazine’s annual 100 Fastest-Growing Companies list. The firm ranked 49th in profit growth based on several financial performance metrics over a three-year period. TriQuint says that its growth was due in part to significant design wins across several high-growth markets including smartphones, tablets, 3G/4G base-stations, optical networks and cable systems.
“We will continue our focus on RF innovation and manufacturing technology to simplify our customers’ designs, and help them meet the demand for more connectivity,” says president & CEO Ralph Quinsey.
To qualify for Fortune Magazine’s annual 100 Fastest-Growing Companies list, a company (foreign or domestic) must be trading on a major US stock exchange; report data in US dollars; file quarterly reports with the US Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC); and have a minimum market capitalization of $250m. Companies that meet these criteria are ranked by revenue growth rate, EPS (earnings per share) growth, and three-year annualized total return for the period ended 30 June.
