TriQuint to open NASDAQ market to commemorate 25th anniversary’s record earnings in 2010
RF front-end product maker and foundry services provider TriQuint Semiconductor Inc of Hillsboro, OR, USA will ring The NASDAQ Stock Market Opening Bell this Friday 25 February 9.15–9.30a.m. EST (6.15–6.30am PST) at the NASDAQ MarketSite in New York City’s Times Square.
“We recently announced record revenue and earnings for 2010, our 25th anniversary,” notes president & CEO Ralph Quinsey. “There’s much enthusiasm for our new opportunities in high-growth markets such as smartphones, tablet PCs and network infrastructure,” he adds. “In 2011, we are expanding our fab capacity by up to 40%, investing in R&D and planning to hire up to 500 new employees.”
To commemorate its 25th anniversary, a delegation of employees representing TriQuint’s global workforce and manufacturing operations in Oregon, Texas, Florida and Costa Rica will accompany Quinsey to the opening ceremony. Quinsey and members of the executive team are also hosting TriQuint’s annual investor day in New York City today.
