MiaSolé adds VPs of marketing and business development
MiaSolé of Santa Clara, CA, USA, which was founded in 2001 to make copper indium gallium diselenide (CIGS) thin-film photovoltaic panels, has appointed Rob DeLine as VP of marketing and Paul Apen as VP of business development. The latest recruitments come at a time when MiaSole is continuing to build its business and expand its core team by adding expertise and experience in marketing and business development.
DeLine, a Fortune 500 veteran, has 20 years of experience in brand and product management in the high-tech and energy sector. He was most recently chief marketing officer for the Energy and Environmental Division of Santa Clara-based semiconductor equipment maker Applied Materials Inc, where he was responsible for market strategy, business development and outbound communication initiatives to grow the firm's solar and lighting business. Previously, DeLine spent 15 years at Intel Corp, in various roles including marketing director for the Asia-Pacific region.
Apen has more than 20 years experience in business development, product management and technology development in global high-tech industries. He comes from E-Ink Holdings, where he was chief business development officer with primary responsibility for alliance and partner development and intellectual property strategy. Apen also held leadership positions in global business management, product management and technology development at Honeywell International.
“The collective experience and expertise that Rob and Paul bring to the table will be instrumental in our current and future plans to expand our business and more effectively articulate our value proposition to the marketplace,” comments says president & CEO Joseph Laia.
