JDSU receives Ciena’s Account Team of the Year award

At its Annual Supplier Summit in Ottawa, Canada at the end of March, network equipment maker Ciena Corp of Linthicum, MD, USA presented optoelectronic chip and module maker JDSU of Milpitas, CA, USA with its Account Team of the Year award.

JDSU earned the award based on its delivery of optical component and subsystem solutions that support Ciena’s high-bandwidth transmission and reconfigurable optical add-drop multiplexer (ROADM) switching equipment needs from 10Gb/s to 100Gb/s.

“It represents our commitment to providing unrivalled support and service to our customers in all aspects of their day-to-day interactions with JDSU,” says Alan Lowe, president of Communications and Commercial Optical Products at JDSU.
