Riber receives order for MBE6000 production machine
Riber S.A. of Bezons, France, which manufactures molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) systems as well as evaporation sources and effusion cells, says it has received an order for an MBE6000 Multi wafer MBE production machine from a major manufacturer of pHEMT structures. Riber did not disclose the name of the customer.
Riber says that the customer will use the MBE6000 system to increase its production capacity by more than 1500 x 6” pHEMT structures a month, with an up time of more than a year of continuous 7 days x 24 hours operations before maintenance.
The firm adds that the sale confirms the quality of its order backlog to date, which totals €11.7m, representing a 92% increase compared to the same period of 2009.See related item:
