Mimix celebrates ten years in business

Mimix Broadband Inc of Houston, TX, USA, a supplier of high performance gallium arsenide (GaAs)-based semiconductors from DC to 50 GHz for RF, microwave and millimeter-wave applications, is celebrating ten years in business.

Rick Montgomery, CEO of Mimix Broadband, founded the firm in 2000 to serve telecom, satellite and defense companies with a diversified product line that includes state-of-the-art RF, microwave and millimeter-wave semiconductors.

"Mimix Broadband was founded by engineers and industry pioneers who saw a need for the solutions that our unique combination of semiconductor design expertise and communications systems background could offer," said Montgomery. "Our vision has allowed us to consistently bring the most effective semiconductor solutions to our customers."

Over the ten year period the firm has achieved many product milestones, including Mimix SmartSets, innovative QFN packaged chipset solutions that lower material and assembly costs and increase reliability and manufacturability of products.

Mimix Broadband currently has offices in Houston, Sydney, Belfast and Hsinchu and works with sales representatives in countries around the world.
