Riber S.A. of Bezons, France, which manufactures molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) systems as well as evaporation sources and effusion cells, says that it has received orders from two European research institutes: one for a Compact 21 reactor and one for an Epineat reactor.
Riber claims that the Compact 21 (said to be the world's best-selling MBE research reactor) offers unrivalled flexibility for use in the ultra-vacuum development of compound semiconductors.
The firm adds that the Epineat range of systems represents the most effective solution for the small-scale development or production of compound semiconductor materials on 4-inch substrates.
