Obducat AB of Malmö, Sweden, which supplies systems based on nano-imprint lithography (NIL) and electron-beam lithography, says that following several months in production use at Taiwan-based UniLite, its Sindre400 fully automated system for the mass production of LEDs has received SAT-approval.

"The SAT-approval means that UniLite confirms that our Sindre400 system meets the requirements for large-scale industrial production of LED components. Being able to declare that our technology contributes to the changeover to more sustainable energy consumption is gratifying," says Lars Tilly, Obducat’s CEO.
