Avago introduces ASMT-Mx20/-Mx22 Moonstone LEDs for solid-state lighting applications

Avago Technologies has introduced 3 W high power cool-white (ASMT-Mx20) and warm-white (ASMT-Mx22) low-profile LEDs to its Moonstone product range, targeted at solid-state lighting applications. The new LEDs are capable of being driven at high currents with typical light output of 145 lumens (lm), says the firm.

ASMT-Mx20/-Mx22 Moonstone low-profile LEDs offer a 120-degree viewing angle, good color and light output uniformity, and low thermal resistance. Both products are compatible with standard surface-mount technology (SMT) reflow soldering processes.

Avago's ASMT-Mx20/-Mx22 Moonstone LEDs are priced at $3.20 each in 1,000 piece quantities. Samples and production quantities are available now through Avago's direct sales channel and worldwide distribution partners.
