Süss MicroTec Lithography GmbH of Garching, Germany has been awarded ISO 9001 certification for having established a high level process- and system-oriented quality management (QM) based on ISO9001 quality standards.

“Being ISO 9001 certified demonstrates our commitment to serving the needs of our customers and strengthen our dedication to quality and innovation”, said Rolf Wolf and Dr.-Ing. Ralf Süss, both general managers of Süss MicroTec. “The ISO 9001 certification is the evidence that we have documented quality procedures and systems in place that meet global standards and expectations. It also assures that we will effectively work toward continuous improvements for our customers and our employees with respect to product functionality, service performance, process efficiency, safety and ecology.”

Süss MicroTec received the ISO 9001 certification from TÜV SÜD Management Service GmbH, a TÜV SÜD AG company, that audited all quality related processes with respect to customer satisfaction, quality monitoring processes, proper record-keeping, performing product verification and regularly reviewing processes for effectiveness.
