In connection with the 10th Annual Needham Growth Stock Conference last week, optical component, module and subsystem maker Bookham Inc of San Jose, CA, USA said that it now expects revenue for its fiscal second-quarter 2008 (to 29 December 2007) of $59m, above the guidance of $55-58m that it gave on 25 October. This is also up 9% on fiscal Q1’s $54.3m.
Bookham cautions that this anticipated revenue is preliminary, based on the best information currently available and subject to completing preparation of its quarterly financial statement.
Bookham will report its financial results for the quarter on 23 January.
